The Windows installer won't even proceed without an internet connection and creating a Microsoft account, how is that any better?
- EricE 4y agoMaybe that changed with 11, but disconnecting all networking on setup was the easiest way to set Windows 10 up without being pestered to enter your Microsoft ID.
- MikusR 4y agoCurrent versions of Windows 11 installer require modifications (for example with RUFUS) to be able to install without internet
