I remain curious about how many of these commenters for or against corporal punishment of children (to be distinguished from capital punishment, which is the allowance of a death sentence for capital crimes) have actually raised children.
- snehk 4y agoI would hope that those arguing for it don't have any. It's literally arguing for violence against others if they behave in a way you don't deem appropriate. Do people who argue in favor of it also hit their partner? I'm glad that this isn't a topic where I live. It's universally accepted that hitting children in any way, shape or form is the same as hitting another adult.
