The focus on TikTok is counter productive, you build a sentiment that the goal is to ban tiktok because it's Chinese, that's racist, rather than raise awareness against social media in general Now you get people complaining about CIA agents working at Google/Meta/Twitter doing moderation and who know what else (spying and profiling) [1] How come Anti-Vax and bunch of conspiracy theorists grew on these US platform despite having CIA agents working there doing moderation, did they help push/promote them? Yet none of that happen on TikTok, so why complain?
