- jacquesm 4y agoThere is that part near the end of 'Der Untergang' (which I think is a fantastic movie for many reasons, and which obviously has nothing to do with Pol Pot) where you can see the ease with which the power hungry were absolutely willing to sacrifice their entire population if it meant that they would hold out a few days longer. The inhumanity of what was happening while at the same time being concerned with their own every day little normal bits of life was such an incredible contrast.
