- hsn915 4y agoI think it's a fair assessment for the general public, but not for the kind of person who is interested in the startup world. I expect an environment like HN to self select against this mindset that is prevalent in the general public. There's a kind of self-fulfilling prophecy effect in this assessment too, so to some extent, it is only as accurate as you believe it to be.
