Isn't this true of any human institution? I'd be curious to hear what your concerns are about specific unions with software workers (e.g. CWA, OPEIU). If you object to the work we're doing, you could always form a fully independent union for your workplace alone. The system was designed for workers to form unions with minimal assistance from a lawyer.
