Yes. Always knew I was a good developer since I started with a C=64, but school was an issue. Graduated HS but didn't go to college because I was so bored at school, like severely bored. Worked non tech jobs through my twenties. Finally sucked it up and started going to college PT in my late 20s. PT so I could pay for it as I went. Graduated mid 30s and have been a dev ever since. Moral: Sometimes you have to slog through what you don't want to do to get to what you want to do. I do not recommend this, however.
