- red-iron-pine 4y agorichest person I ever met, an ex's dad who quietly owned a ton of automotive stuff, was fond of crocs and hawaiian shirts. he collected jaguars (the cars) and restored them in his basement basement garage, which had 5 bays. there is, of course, an argument for counter-signaling here, but I am in agreement with the parent post -- hard to make a judgement based on shoes or cars.
