I normally only get tweets leaning towards one side of the political spectrum. I read an article and liked a tweet, and suddenly found myself in a mirror-image alternative universe. The echo chamber is real. For all its potential, Twitter is no way to learn about the world. But the same goes for any web site with algorithmically served content.
