I've known people in my trade and others trying to get into the trade with similar difficulties. We're all dealt a certain amount of, to put it this way, brain power. Some I've tried to train just couldn't understand the concept of what I was trying to convey, even with pictures and drawings. Others got it well enough, but just either didn't care or became bored. When I was learning electricity and struggling a little, the instructor told me part of the problem was I didn't yet know the right questions to ask. This blew and opened my mind at the same time! I've used that statement on myself and others ever since. But I also except some won't ever be able to understand these questions.
