What Happened to the Netbook?
- jim-jim-jim 4y agoMy Fujitsu netbook running OpenBSD still gets daily use from me as a standalone musical instrument (as opposed to a studio brain running a full DAW). It's the perfect size for a computer imo; anything bigger is not truly portable.
- cc101 4y agoMy impression is that the MacBook Air killed it. For a short time about 50% of college students were using a MacBook Air. The netbooks were tiny and awkward while the MacBook Air was larger, light weight and an elegant experience.
