Apple have a Self Service Repair program.
- Nextgrid 4y agoNot only is the self-service repair program a sham, but doesn't actually address the parent's point about upgradability - the repair program, if your part is actually covered by it (good luck getting individual system board components so you don't have to replace a $700 board because of a $5 blown IC) it will still be a like-for-like replacement with no upgrade.
