I’m not sure what recycled water was meant in the article? Does he mean grey water? Apparently that is used only a little bit in London and in specific places, not in households unless a system has been installed. I guess if he wanted to avoid recycled water he could collect and purify water from animal aerobic respiration or hydrocarbon combustion. Even then the oxygen and hydrogen could have been used before.
