Nvidia already does sort of break that divide, don’t they? By offering cuda on consumer cards, they offer a gateway to curious users, and something to get by with at home for professional users. I think intel was late to the game with Arc because they insisted on making a card that could compete with 80-90% of nvidias features on their first mass market try, and had to build much of that infrastructure from scratch.
