Norwegian energy giant Equinor: Boss warns higher bills are here to stay
- thinking4real 4y ago“everyone [should] use as little energy as possible.” I wonder how many flights he’s taken this year. I wonder what his personal energy usage metrics are. That would be a fun little side game - anyone who runs in the circles to decide energy cost/policy/etc has their metrics beside their face when they speak. Just for fun.
- bequanna 4y agoMuch higher bills, but not as volatile. Of course they want this! Big win for energy companies, huge loss for consumers. All they had to do was create a pseudo-religion and get enough of the population on board.
- rasz 4y agoor we could repeal current stupid EU energy market (paying top bidding price for all of energy) just the way Portugal and Spain managed to carve out (40euro/MWh https://ec.europa.eu/commission/presscorner/detail/en/ip_22_3550 https://ec.europa.eu/commission/presscorner/detail/en/ip_22_...) and not overpay for cheap energy like it was all generated with super expensive gas? For reference today Spain/Portugal spot price was 25x cheaper than south of Norway. https://euenergy.live https://euenergy.live
