Ask HN: What will be the most valuable IT certification 5 years from now?
- uberman 4y agoDo any "certifications" have value? As an employer, I have never given any certification any weight.
- Jason_Protell 4y agoYes, in the sense that they demonstrate proficiency in a skill / subject. You may not give them any weight, but I'm sure you're aware that many employers do. Sometimes certs are preferred, sometimes they're required.
- realAzazello 4y agoCISSP [0] will be near the top of the list. It's already highly valuable (and highly profitable for (ISC)²) for those wanting to assure their credentials in cyber/tech security. Unfortunately, too many of its holders think they are cybersecurity EXPERTS by simply passing the test.
