If already you use make, I don't see a reason to also use just, since you can just do what just does with make.

- gregwebs 4y agoThat’s often pragmatic if you have 3-4 commands. But when you have more eventually you’ll end up with a cluttered Makefile and a poor command runner. just -l shows all the tasks available. Just commands take cli arguments instead of being forced to use environment variables which are susceptible to typos, etc. I can write a 3 line script in normal bash syntax instead of slightly different make syntax and then easily move it to be a separate shell script when it gets bigger.
