would have loved to hold off on ventura, but the lack of security updates (and compliance reqs by my employer) is what got me...
this is one of the areas where Apple is really bad. no security updates on the N-1 generation OS immediately after new one is released??
- easton 4y ago> no security updates on the N-1 generation OS immediately after new one is released?? They definitely do ship software updates (and Safari updates), they’re just more selective about it. 0-days and whatever are usually patched.
- m_mueller 4y agoWell there was at least one that got a CVE, thus landed on our cybersec radar, and Apple only provided an update (at least initially) for Ventura.
