The point of vinyl is the tech, not the music. It is for people who want to fidget with an alternative way of playing music, not necessarily better, just different. Similar to people who like gaming on retro consoles.
- mnd999 4y agoThat doesn't seem to be the case, at least for 50% of the buyers mentioned in the article. They don't have a turntable, so they aren't going to listen to it at all. For them the sound quality is irrelevant, they just seem to want a nice thing to put on the shelf.
