Is there a word that can replace “said sarcastically”?
- dtagames 4y agoSure. A good writer can remove any word from a sentence and make a new version with different words. Think about all the antonyms for sarcasm, like veracity, sincerity, and forthrightness. You could mention that those were lacking, or show that the response wasn't believed. To take the example in the OP: "I'm glad to know that's what you think of my politics," Andrew said, somewhat insincerely. ... said, although no one seemed convinced. ... said. "You don't seem glad," Carol fired back. etc.
