We didn’t switch databases, but deployed the same application in some different infrastructure due to how different companies in our “group” have different setup. So we went from having an API running in Azure connecting to a DB running in MS SQL Server, and had to also deploy that (with some UI changes) to Google Cloud with postgres DB. It went surprisingly well, but there were a few fiddly bits and I was quite glad I didn’t have to worry about the DB interaction, EF Core handled it for us
