You don't need cameras for that, they wouldn't work in lower visibility. Typically ground radar is used for this at large airports.

- WalterBright 4y agoIf the visibility is that low, wouldn't the airport be shut down? Cameras are far cheaper than radar.
- t0mas88 4y agoNot at all. Minimum visibility for takeoff is often 600ft and can be lower than that.
