- jdsnape 4y agoHa, I wasn’t expecting to see an Audax post on hacker news. Congrats on the SR! I started audaxing in 2026 and quickly became addicted, although it is a significant time investment so I took some years off for family. I also managed to complete a SR last year, and am aiming to do Radonneur Round The Year (one 200km+ ride per calendar month) I find the time on the bike a great opportunity to reset and have time to think, and the physical challenge, persevering through the inevitable hard time and pleasure in the achievement is hugely rewarding.
