I am not a fan of having a script pull down all manner of things in order to run. The smart is of course to review the script and see what its dependencies are. This is not always straight forward, esp. when it gets recursive. In that NPM is the worst offender I have tried. It can easily expand from 10 libraries to hundreds of dependencies (and dependencies of the dependencies)
