Everything actually. I'm sick and tired of cheap stuff.
Relatively recent discovery merino wool clothing - extremely comfortable, breathable and most of the time, you don't even have to wash it since it contains some kind of natural anti bacterials that kills any odour. Amazing !
- karmakaze 4y agoThis is probably more true now than ever. I used also used to buy everything to last. Now for new things I'll buy an average-priced or even below the first time. Then if/when it comes time to replace it decide how much it matters to me. Anything that use often and in particular things I physically touch/interact-with are high on my desire for quality. e.g. toaster, coffee machine, keyboard, mouse, display, speakers/earphones. Things I don't spend on anymore are hobbies and sports equipment. I've found that I overspend and under-use. I even rented a bass guitar monthly (for over a year) expecting that it would likely end up costing more than buying it. Finally ended my rental and was glad to have done it that way--every few months I thought to myself: use it or return it. Pretty sure I got more use than if I'd bought it and have to deal with a thing I own and don't use.
