May help if you say what kind of product/service you're offering? I have found you can make a return with low value, impulse buys but it was hard work and sucked time away from other projects that would have been more profitable, such as basic content marketing. There may be some value in long term brand recognition though, really depends how much spare cash you have to throw around I suppose?
