I think geofencing should only be allowed to establish/check connection to a very specific crime. I.e. in this specific case of capitol riot, it was a clear one

I think geofencing should only be allowed to establish/check connection to a very specific crime. I.e. in this specific case of capitol riot, it was a clear one. What I don't think should be allowed is a geofence & open-ended fishing for more crimes. Obviously I am not lawyer, but I would think it could be codified somehow.
