I an curious about the CL part. Can you elaborate why the REPL input and output should be in different buffers?
- some-mthfka 4y agoIn fact, I think every output should have its own buffer (or a place to end up in). On the one hand, this is a UI problem, so that's just how I would prefer it. When you have a lot of output (like thousands of lines in a batch), you really don't want to go looking for where that thing begins. On the other hand, you can't easily access the latest execution run programmatically. So, then, the input part shouldn't be there as well. That doesn't mean you couldn't select a run of input-output dialogue, though. Visually, the run of UI input-outputs could be the same, it's just that how you work with all that stuff that has to be structured.
