Who can die? Canada wrestles with euthanasia for the mentally ill
- ggm 4y agoThis is food for the slippery-slope opponents of legally assisted dying. They said at the time it would not stay in the role of end of life for terminally ill people and I guess at one remove, they were right. I might add I think assisted dying/death with dignity is a sad, but important right, and I am glad we have it. I'm just observing that for a cohort who opposed it, their worst fears arguably have now come true.
