I was confused by this, but I think they mean "neurological" as in "relating to the nervous system," specifically to the olfactory sensory neurons that detect smells.
- anon84873628 4y agoAt first you were probably thinking of the meaning of "psychological". Part of the confusion probably comes from words like "neurosis" or "neurotic" which in fact fall under the discipline of psychiatry.
