I don’t think this is analogous to a punch clock. The clock just says when you’re in the building, where the kind of software they’re using here is more like just having someone stand at your desk and ask you what you’re doing every couple of minutes. There’s a mental cost to being tracked so rigidly, and the burnout it leads to may be -why- hours get logged fraudulently.
