The most unbelievable part of it is that the president would actually admit he didn't know what he was doing (and actually want to fix a situation out of genuine care) rather then double down and just have the protagonist killed in order to maintain control over whatever was left. Or that Brawndo wouldn't have carried out a character assassination (or a genuine one) to keep sales rising for another quarter.
