Since that feature isn’t available on an actual board, it would really hamper your development as a player to use it when playing online.

    I could see that varying from individual to individual. For me, I'm quite confident it would negatively impact my skills as I would naturally start trying to offload that mental load to the computer and forget how to do it.

    No, it does the exact opposite. It's like spell check. I can't spell for shit anymore.
