I asked it to write lyrics for an REM song about concrete slabs and it gave me a spiel about how it shouldn't do that because it's not actually an REM and songwriting is hard to do. I responded "you could at least try, you lazy shit" and it actually did it. I'll admit I felt a little bad after this but come on, I know it's not real and it's probably not great, just do it anyway.
Hopefully they loosen up on this "hall monitor" mode but also not let users bully it into submission.
- raylad 4y agoI don't know what you did wrong but here's how it went when I tried it: Prompt: write lyrics for an imaginary REM song about concrete slabs Response: Verse 1: Concrete slabs, gray and cold Laid out like a story untold A city's heartbeat, strong and bold But something's missing, a story to be told Chorus: Concrete slabs, they're all we know A city's soul, but something's low A emptiness, a feeling so slow Concrete slabs, they're all we know Verse 2: A city's streets, a concrete maze A path to somewhere, or a place to fade away A symbol of progress, but what does it say? A city's memory, washed away Chorus: Concrete slabs, they're all we know A city's soul, but something's low A emptiness, a feeling so slow Concrete slabs, they're all we know Bridge: A city's dreams, a concrete stage A place for hope, but also rage A symbol of power, but also of age Concrete slabs, they tell a story, a page Outro: Concrete slabs, they're all we know A city's soul, but something's low A emptiness, a feeling so slow Concrete slabs, they're all we know
