What If Tesla Is Just a Car Company?
- kranke155 4y agoThen it might be overvalued. By a lot. It’s funny if you head into Reddit r/TeslaInvestorsClub everyone is convinced that Tesla is a multi trillion dollar company. The first one ever, etc. An energy/cars/AI company they say. After watching Elon on twitter I realised I don’t know really what the inside of his companies look like. He had one of the world’s best PR campaigns before he bought twitter, and he did it mostly all himself. But now I wonder: - is Tesla FSD just nuts and he has no idea if it will work or not - is Tesla Bot just another trick to pump the stock price - his SolarCity takeover was just a way to save a relative’s company - was it actually a good thing he got out of OpenAI - is Neuralink just an idea looking for a problem - is he like, very mild cyclothimic (I suspect he is)
- Zigurd 4y agoYes; yes; yes (and got away with it); arguable; more like teslabot - not leading edge, but used to shine-up the image; or a tweaker.
