The Twitter app just got an update that makes it easier to switch to the chronological timeline, and it appears to actually stick now. (At least it has so far).
Doesn't avoid the ads though, which are still ubiquitous.
- vanilla_nut 4y agoWhat they can fix in an update, they can take away in another update. The only safe solution is competition between multiple service providers. If third-party clients are dead... looks like even more of a reason to switch to alternatives like Mastodon?
- ubermonkey 4y agoTwitter wasn't valuable enough to me BEFORE Elon bought it for me to put up with ads. It definitely isn't now.
