In Gamecube modding it is common to cut apart a Wii motherboard. Would it be possible to create a split keyboard by cutting apart multiple cheap full keyboards?
- gigaflop 4y agoYou totally could, if you were willing to re-solder all of the cut traces. But at that point, you'd be better served by buying a kit to assemble. Custom firmware, choice of key switches, and choice of keycaps are not going to be available if you apply the hacksaw method to cheapo $5 boards.
