Yeah I've had similar thoughts about this. The areas where AI can't really compete (probably ever) is in reporting / photo journalism. We'll always need someone to be on the scene to capture the events / investigate the stories, and I don't think the world is dystopian enough to start manufacturing AI news drones. Efforts will be put in place to filter out the garbage AI content with human made, real world reporting.
