The Costs of ‘Free’ Internal Developer Portals
- PaulHoule 4y agoAn article like this is not very credible when it is sponsored by a vendor of this kind of tool. So far as labor costs to run the portal and the "cost of missing features" these are not necessarily zero if you get software from a vendor. If you are happy with their product out of the box it might be really cheap to configure and maintain but if you need or want some different functionality it could be anything from simple to fiendishly difficult to impossible.
