I've ways preferred HOCON to YAML but it never took off :-/
It's a pity, because compared to YAML it's a lot simpler from the rules perspective while being flexible enough to do some useful stuff over plain JSON
Also, it isn't white space dependent, something which annoys me know end with YAML
