- j-bos 4y agoThis is my question too. I'd guess the Venn between privacy conscious and ff user is closer to a circle than an oval.
- fbn79 4y agoGood question. I checked [about:telemetry] and I have telemetry disabled. I suppose many people are doing the same.
- PurpleRamen 4y agoEven with disabled telemetry, there should be ways to get some data. Update-calls for the browser and add-ons should give some valid hints.
- tinus_hn 4y agoThey can count the number of downloads and the number of requests to the update servers. Or they can just not count the people that disable telemetry.
- the_third_wave 4y agoEven when you have telemetry disabled the browser still regularly checks for updates - unless you have that disabled as well like I do as I prefer my executables to be read-only - so they can still get a good idea of the number of users out there.
