I don’t think TS is worth it, because I don’t think gradual typing provides a good cost/benefit ratio. If I’m going to write a bit of JavaScript, I’ll write JavaScript with the minimal feature set possible. It’s not a good thing that the language has continued to accrete features. If I’m going to write something non-trivial, I’ll go straight to Elm — an actual sane language.
