You didn’t know electric cars were going to get cheaper? Seems kind of obvious and bound to persist for the next few years.
- _ea1k 4y agoI don't think anyone anticipated the cut to be this big at this particular time. TBH, I thought they'd go to ~60k for the Y and make some modifications to get the tax benefit for their customers. I bet that most people who purchased at the end of last year (when $7,500 discounts were available) had similar thoughts. Instead they've gone down to price points that makes their price after tax benefits lower than they've ever been.
