Pre-PMF you probably don't need much, just don't make it harder for yourself to add things later. For us we usually just add a new feature to the admin dashboard whenever it's needed for the first time, usually triggered by a customer support question. The downside is that unusual queries can take a few days to answer, but the upside is that we've never built anything we didn't need.
