I recently moved to a new team that has been using Notion. I can't find any meaningful difference between it and GitHub (which, just like Notion, also uses Markdown as the way to communicate the written word), aside from GitHub making it easier to include non-written word content alongside the written word.
Maybe git in the raw is a little too raw, but what's the appeal over git + something like GitHub that includes all of the higher level features?
