- filoleg 4y agoNot the person you are replying to, but I hold the same opinion as them regarding Bill Gates and OpenAI, and I am totally fine with vaccines (vaxxed myself and would recommend it to others). What's your point? There is a reason for why "assume good faith" and "please try to assume the strongest possible interpretation of comments of others" are a part of HN comment guidelines. Instead, you just immediately jumped to an assumption that the reason the grandparent comment author is not a fan of him is because BillG is pro-vaccines, and the author is an anti-vaxxer.
- wcoenen 4y agoBill Gates' stake in Microsoft is on the order of 1%. Therefore, even when Microsoft buys a 100% stake in something, it does not mean that it is "in Bill Gates' hands".
