Guessing part of the concern is that lower income folks might have historically substituted eggs for meat when money was tight.
- kleiba 4y agoSure, but eggs are still very affordable. That said, meat is also one of the cheapest foods you can buy in many cases, usually quite a bit cheaper than fresh fruits and vegetable.
