In a closed room heat isn't down to fan, that heat may not be in the case but it's not getting pumped out of my room quickly. I'm basically running a 900 watt heater whenever I'm doing hangouts or gaming
- doublepg23 4y agoBut the new chips are already shipping with an “ECO mode” for small-form factor computers. That just makes it easy though, undervolting was already popular. The alternative is shipping a power constrained for…no gain? Letting the cpu boost this high is only a boon for people who want it and is an imagined negative.
- grogenaut 4y agoWindows nor call of duty seem to care not about those settings. Happy to run at full blast all the time. And then there's the 3090.
