Systems where we try to "outsource" the piloting of a vehicle seems to have a big problem with naming. "Auto Pilot" in planes does not mean that the plane pilot itself automatically, it just means you can pilot "less" than if you have 100% manual control. Seemingly Tesla is copying this, with "Self-driving" doesn't actually mean the car will drive by itself, but that the driver can drive "less" compared to before. Deceptive marketing at best, fatal at worst.
