There are plausible conjectures that we are most likely alone in our galaxy and will not make contact with another civilization for at least a few million years.
If it had been a probe it is already a dead probe. Otherwise we would have picked up something with SETI.
- m4rtink 4y agoStill could fetch some useful tech if it could be intercepted in that case. Even the "oh you can do THAT" effect would really help.
- bayesian_horse 4y agoIntercepting it is next to impossible due to the Delta-V. Capturing it and bringing it back is even harder.
